How To Install The Piano Pedal Booster For Kids: 

Step 1: Position the Pedal Extender

Place the pedal extender on top of the piano’s existing pedals. Ensure it is aligned correctly so that each adjustable pedal sits directly over the corresponding piano pedal. The pedals of the extender simply rest on the pedals of the piano, so no tools are required for installation, and it's quick to setup.

Step 2: Adjust the Overall Height

Turn the large knob located on the side of the wood pedal box to adjust the overall height. This adjustment should be made based on the pianist’s comfort, ensuring that their feet rest naturally on the extender without strain. The extended raises between 5.5" to 9", so you can double check with the player to make sure they are at the correct playing height and their feet are resting comfortably on the platform. 

Step 3: Fine-Tune the Pedal Mechanism

Underneath the pedal mechanism, loosen the knobs, so that you can adjust the part of the extender that comes in contact with the pedal. You can move the metal rods up or down, based on the height of your piano's pedals. Adjust these so that there is a small gap (about 1/4 inch) between the flat metal contact point of the pedal extender and the actual piano pedals. This small clearance, known as "lost motion," allows for a seamless and silent operation.

Confirm that the overall height feels natural for the pianist.
