This piano hide glue is made from high quality, fresh, selected animal trimmings. Perfect for piano, woodworking and cabinet repair, this product has a wide range of uses, including gluing wood to wood, felt to wood, leather and cork, etc. A benefit of hide glue is that it can be separated later if needed (unlike many other types of glues)--simply add heat and a little moisture. Any remaining glue particles can be sanded or scraped away. A great glue which sets quickly, and has been used for centuries.
To use, soak the glue overnight. Next, cook for 30 minutes at 100 degrees Fahrenheit, and then increase the heat to 150 degrees. A glue cooker is recommended to help prevent evaporation.
