This nylon tuning lever is ideal for professional tuners or for those pianists who wish to maintain the tuning to keep their piano sounding its best.
Overall length is 11-1/2", which includes an 8" NYLON handle. Comes with 1-1/4" long, 5 degree No. 13G high polished stainless steel head and #2 star tip.
Star Tip: Even though tuning pins have square ends, the star shape permits you to set the tuning hammer in the best position. You want the tuning lever to be positioned nearly vertical or inclining slightly to the right. This is not always possible with piano tuning hammers that have a square opening.
